8 Bedroom House in Monticello

This two level home rests in the beautiful landscaped facility of Golden Pond Resort. With sleeping for up to 18 guest this makes for the perfect family gathering. You have two levels, each comes with 4 bedrooms and two baths, also a fully equipped kitchen open to the dinning room and living room area on each floor. You have ground access to each level as well. If you do not need both floors then we can do just one for up to 10 guest. since each floor is it's own unit, there is no inside access between floors. There are stairs on the rear deck to go between floors. The upper level has about 800 sq. feet of decking with seating for 12.
The lower level has a covered porch with ceiling fans and lighting for night dinning outside, along with a table that seats 8.
Your backyard is 200 feet of rolling hill to the play area with slide and swings for the kids, as well as volley ball, tennis, horse shoes and corn hole, or a dip in the pool. You also have a fire pit right out the back door.
We are located just 3 miles from Conley Bottom Marina for all your boating needs. As well as several other public lake access within a couple of miles. There are four different golf courses within a 40 minute drive.
There are several attractions within a 10 minute drive, such as the historic Brown-Lanier house from the battle of mill springs. Which is still one of the largest water wheels still used today.

There is Burnside state park only 20 miles away. Water park in north Somerset, as well as movie theaters and shopping mall.
Lake Cumberland may be the big draw, but for those into hiking, Cumberland falls is about 45 minutes away with organized trails as well as the famous moon bow.

Summary: The house was nice! Family enjoyed all amenities! The pool, volleyball court and play area was close and fun! The 8 minute walk to the winery didn’t pan out, it’s been closed for 2 years. It was a fun time!!

Summary: There was nice amount of space for all seventeen of us at this clean two story duplex. We enjoyed the recreation area at the bottom of the hill. Visiting Mill Spring Mills Historical sight was fun for everyone. However, the highlight of our trip was getting to see the Moonbow at Cumberland Falls on the only clear night of our trip. This is a very nice place to stay, with plenty to do even on cold winter days.

Summary: Not only is there 8 bedrooms which is fabulous there is a pool super close. Very clean comfortable beds and everyone that cares for the ground are super nice.

Summary: The property was as advertised with plenty of room for our family group totalling 16. Communication was good and checkin was minimal and swift. It was very clean and had an abundance of fresh towels. Television and internet worked well and quickly. The space was such that we could gather and play games and enjoy each other’s company, but without being on top of one another. Perhaps the best was the outdoor games and pool. With tennis, basketball, corn hole, and horseshoe pitch, there was always something for everyone. The pool was delightful and appeared to have been recently refurbished. The water was clean, cool, and refreshing, we enjoyed it immensely. The location was central to a wide variety of activities and had nearby shopping. The kitchen was a good size for meal preparation. The only negative was the minimum utensils and prep items there. We would definitely return if coming to Kentucky again.

Summary: Property was perfect for the 13 of us that stayed there and then hosting a family reunion over the weekend. The swimming pool and play grounds were a hit with the teenagers and little ones. Everyone wants to come back next year!
